As the Federal Election 2025 approached, this explainer mapped the complex political battleground of the nation. The objective was to transform raw polling data and geographic clusters into a tangible roadmap for the major parties.
Leveraging GeoLayers in After Effects to generate a data-accurate national map, ensuring electorates were represented in their proper geographic context. By applying a holographic aesthetic with distinct colour-coding, I translated dense electoral data into a dynamic visual strategy that allowed the audience to track the shifting landscape.
On Election night this explainer reached an audience of 1.78 million viewers.
